The auction
> Legal title will not pass to the buyer until the lot(s) has been paid for in full, notwithstanding each lot is as the sole risk of the buyer as of the fall of the hammer.
> Every bidder shall be deemed to act as a principal. Even if he acts as an agent on behalf of another principal, he or she will in any case be responsible for payment of the purchases.
> If during the sale a dispute arises, only the bailiff or notary in charge is authorized to settle the dispute. His or her decision is final and irreversible.
> SABAM, being the official copyright-institute, obliges us to charge copyrights on sold works of art of artists figuring on their list. This premium is 4% on the global hammer price considering the work of art is sold at minimum 1250 ¤ and that the artist died within the last 70 years. This premium is not included in the 25% buyer’s premium.
> No purchase shall be claimed or removed until it has been paid for in full and the sale has been concluded. Buyers are requested to remove their purchases within three working days following the sale.
> The auctioneer has absolute discretion to divide any lot, to combine any two or more lots, to withdraw any lot from the sale or to refuse bids in any case, giving any reason or without previous notice.
> Biddings by phone or fax are accepted at the sender’s risk. Telephone bids must be confirmed in writing.
> By the sole act of bidding the buyer commits him-or herself to our standard conditions of sale.
